Borrowing Library Materials
Welcome to the University Library
Here’s everything you need to know about borrowing materials, keeping track of due dates, and making the most of your library resources.
All current STU students, faculty, staff, alumni, and SEFLIN cardholders are eligible to borrow materials from the library.
To check out items, you’ll need a valid STU ID card. If you’re visiting from another institution, bring a SEFLIN card (from a participating library) and a photo ID.
There’s no limit to the number of items you can check out, and you can renew them as many times as needed—unless someone else places a recall on them.
Please ensure that you return or renew your items before the due date.
Remember: you can’t borrow materials for another person or lend out your STU ID.
If another user requests an item you have, you’ll get an email notice asking you to return it.
